Night of the Dead Festival in Xochitla

Enjoy this amazing cultural festival dedicated to the dead in the magical town of Tepotzotlán. This annual event is organized every year in Xochitla Ecological Park, located a few kilometers from Mexico City. The Night of the Dead Festival is characterized as a celebration full of color, fun and entertainment, perfect to go with all your family members. Take note and go this October 20th, the day the park is filled with multiple artistic expressions, from giant skulls to traditional offering to the dead; also you can be part of the workshops and Pre-Hispanic rituals. The program begins at 11:00 a.m. with impressive displays of offerings and art typical of this celebration. At noon, enjoy delicious Mexican dishes and typical dishes of the altars. In the afternoon, practice the choreography of Michael Jackson's Thriller. Something very characteristic of this place are its beautiful gardens decorated with marigolds, which are illuminated for display. At night, you enjoy a show with catrinas and skeletons, and if you like, you can stay in the camp and heard the scary legends of the region.
