The Xochipilli Park is located in the city of Monclova, Coahuila. It consists of two parks that form a 48-hectare area, the biggest in the state of Coahuila. It opens the whole year from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm during winter season and 6 am to 8 pm in summer season. This recreational park offers natural, cultural and recreational spaces for family and people that enjoy nature. The first part was opened on April 4th, 1988 by Gerarado Benavided Luna and his wife Amparo Benavides Pape with the help of the Governor Eliseo Mendoza Berruto. This area has 20 hectares of garden, sports facilities, resting areas, lake, outdoor theater, and plants and trees. The 2nd sector opened on April 4th, 1999 offering 28 hectares of seating areas, playground, jogging, zip line and climbing wall. This park is the most popular and ecological of the state of Coahuila. For the little ones, Xochipelli Park offers a scenic tour throughout the park.
